Authorized business use.
Use the service only if you have authority to act for your business and manage the accounts you connect. Provide accurate account details, protect credentials, assign appropriate team permissions and promptly report unauthorized access. You retain ownership of your content and grant us permission to process it only as necessary to provide the requested service and meet applicable legal obligations.
Connected-platform requirements.
Your Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp use remains subject to Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies and the applicable messaging, commerce and business-product rules. Follow required consent, opt-out, messaging-window and template requirements. Authorization is granted through the relevant provider flow. SM Gateway does not guarantee account eligibility, platform approval or uninterrupted access, and an integration does not establish Meta Business Partner status. These terms do not override Meta’s requirements for platform data.
Acceptable use.
Do not send unlawful or unsolicited messages, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property rights, distribute harmful content, bypass permissions or attempt unauthorized access. Do not sell or license Meta platform data, use it for surveillance or prohibited eligibility decisions, or process it for purposes outside the authorized integration. Businesses must have lawful authority to collect and use customer information and must respect customer privacy and opt-out requests.
Privacy and business responsibilities.
Our privacy policy and data-deletion instructions explain how we handle personal information and requests. A business using SM Gateway controls its customer-processing purposes and must provide suitable notices, obtain required permissions and coordinate rights requests with us. Connected data is processed for that business’s authorized purpose. You may not repurpose another business’s data or instruct us to process platform data contrary to applicable law or Meta requirements.
AI and automation.
You are responsible for the rules, knowledge and instructions you configure and for reviewing outputs where appropriate. AI-generated content may be inaccurate. Provide required disclosures and arrange a human handoff for matters needing judgment. Do not use AI or automation to bypass platform messaging rules, privacy duties or restrictions on sensitive decisions.
Subscriptions, service changes and ending use.
Pricing, payment, cancellation, support and service-level commitments are those in your applicable order or customer agreement. Website examples do not amend that agreement. Features may vary by configuration and connected-provider availability. We may restrict or suspend use that violates these terms, applicable law or platform requirements, and notify you where appropriate. Ending service does not remove legal obligations to delete data; users and authorized businesses can request deletion through the published instructions.
Service limitations and responsibility.
Use reasonable care when relying on the service. We do not promise that the website, application, connected APIs or AI outputs will always be available, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Contractual warranties, remedies and liability limits are those in your applicable customer agreement, subject to mandatory law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Applicable law, changes and contact.
These terms are governed by applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to mandatory rights and any governing-law or dispute provisions in your separate customer agreement. Contact us to resolve questions or disputes in good faith. We update these terms by publishing a revised version with its effective date and provide additional notice where required.
